Day 3 - Mexico!

Day 3. 11:36 PM America Time

Final update. How I miss home.

...I mean Mexico.

I'm here in the U.S., not Mexico, and am missing the mother land (mostly the quesadillas). We woke up this morning, surprisingly, because Rennie woke us up, and were told to get ready for the day. Carl and I both got dressed and then enjoyed a breakfast consisting of corn tortillas, barbacoa, and beria (sp??). It was delicious. Freakin' good. I want more.

Anyways, Hector called and said he was on his way to pick me up (Carl was going with the Regalados to church, I was headed home with Hector so that there would be more room in Rennie's car). Hector arrived and we went on another short tour of the city, passing everything I had seen over the weekend. The last two places we passed that I recognized were "Hector's" and...the place next to "Hector's". ...sigh...memories. We spent about an hour waiting to cross the bridge and then headed to Kingsville. I'm here now. Finishing up my homework and daydreaming about the girl "fresas".

Some thoughts:
- The people we met were very nice.
- The Regalados are very nice.
- The Regalados make very good food.
- Goat cheese is good cheese.
- Dona Tota should come to America.
- Indio should send beer to America.
- Some "talent" in Mexico may want to look at crossing over and trying out the Corpus scene.
- I love quesadillas.
- I miss Mexico.

Until our next adventure into Mejico,

Day 2 - Mexico!

Day 3. 12:05 PM Mexico Time

Recap of yesterday.

Another fun day.

My mind is clearer this morning so you may recieve a better description of what we did.

We woke up, late, and we're treated to an amazing barbecue that was verrrry delicious. Quesadillas! Oi! And there were also steaks and beans and sausage and avocado, but my favorite was the quesadillas. By far. Gracias Señora Regalado. Then we took off to the market and shopped around where Carl paid too much money for some stuff and i found a nifty hat. Then we came back to the house to rest some before heading out for the night.

Our night began with a stop at Bigotones, Restaurant and Grill, for some drinks and food. The food was okay, but the drinks were great. There we talked some and Carl and Neto enjoyed a little cuban flavor. We then headed to El Rol, which is just a street that people drive up and down on lookin for someone they know or something to do. We also stopped by this pub called Irish Pub that was pretty cool. It had some nice lookin ladies in it. After observing the locals get themselves dizzy, waste gas, and spend money, we headed to Hectors where we ordered a bunch of girlie drinks until Rennie picked us up.

Final update later today.

Day 1 - Mexico!

Day 1. 1:55 AM Mexico Time

...

I remain speechless for about... i dunnoo.... a lot of minutes.

Carl and I have ventured across the border into the hometown of Neto and Rennie, among others, and have found ourselves basically speechless to the talent that can be found in such a small town.

My head is sideways... it helps read what Im typing better and this damn mexican keyboard sucks.

Anyways, I am not efficient with words at the moment, however, our day started off with a short drive to Brownsville and then the drive into Matamoros, hung out at Neto/Rennie's for a while and then a trip to a bar called "Hector's". This trip led to a shot of alckyhall titled "Cockroach" which i was soon regretting the order of and soon feeling the burning of in my throat. This doesnt sound good at all, but just no that everyone took the shot. <What happens next has been censored to protect the living and the dead --Neto> I am now sitting in god knows whose house and hoping to sober up before falling asleep.

I think carl is writing a song. About boobs. Perhaps. More info tomorrow.

I now leave Neto to proofread this cuz he doesn't want the info posted about

Until tomorrow,
