The Kingsville Wars - The Battle of Big House

WHERE WERE WE?
THE GUYS HAVE A VEHICLE BUT NO GUIDANCE FROM THE MEXICAN ORACLE. ON THE UPSIDE THEIR POWERS ARE NOW BEGINNING TO TAKE SHAPE. WE KNOW THAT THEY CANT BE NEAR THEIR PAST SELVES, LEST THEY BE DRAWN INTO AN UNFORESEEN PARADOX. A MOST INGENIOUS ONE AT THAT! BUT LETS TAKE A BREAK FROM THE MAIN GROUP, MY MAN J IS ABOUT TO COME OUT.

At College Dr. In front of the Javelina statue J is looking confused.
J - Where is (DELETED)? Why the heck am I in Kingsville?
J looked around confused as to why he was there. He now started to fiddle with his hands and placed them in his pocket. The sense of confusion was overwhelming; little did he know that he had also crossed the river of time. In an instant, some shock came over him as he took a small notebook out of his pocket with his name on it.
J - Property of Joey? Why do I have this?
As he mumbled to himself and thumbed through the pages. Scientific notes, littered with Leongos name and the World Engine. A business card fell from the notebook. Joey A. Development Engineer World Engine Project Founded 2033.
J - Do I work there?
He scoffed at the card and started to go through the notebook. Equations, diagrams and measurements of units he didn't event remember. For all he cared it was just some prank; little did he know his part to play was much greater than what he thought. A page struck his eye.
J - Rennie, Neto, Fredo, Checo and Carlos need tickets to unveiling and beta testing of World Engine. Need to ask Forrest for the tickets.
The next page was even more cryptic.
J - The day after the World Engine was started, all of my friends went missing. I have to go get them, but they are stuck. Something is going on, no one has seen Forrest.
The next couple of pages were ripped, like someone grabbed a hold of them and ripped the pages from their seams. You  could however make up a couple of words.
J - Park. Big Hou. Big house?
Joey seemed confused but seemed to know something. His notes were as fragmented as his current state of mind, yet nothing in the following pages made sense. It was torn pieces of sentences from the notes he has written. Whoever had them, he knew that at one point he needed to head to the big house burger joint. As he started to walk, he fidgeted with one of the pockets of his cargo pants. A small toy bow; it was made of steel, with a button. He thought it was a child's toy and put it away and started to walk down the main drive towards King street.

Seconds turned to minutes, minutes turned to hours, and in that time a heavy feeling of being followed came over him. As he was constantly looking over his shoulder, more and more similar looking men started to approach. His pace quickened and he made it closer and closer to the burger place. The men kept multiplying, like waves of khakis and no cologne slammed against the sidewalks and streets. The air was hot, the sun blazing.
J - Finally.
The door to the restaurant opened as a couple left. He held the door for them and made his way in. The Leongos outside started congregating, ten, then twenty then forty and now over a hundred. He didn't know.

A waitress approached him and told him his party was expecting him. He didn't know who could it be, but there he was sitting on a chair. An old man now with a white beard hugging his face. His long hair was slicked backed and rested upon his shoulders. He was wearing an old trench coat and kept his right arm firmly hugged against his left side.
P - You made it.
J - Park?
P - You might have the disorienting effect of the travel.
J - Travel?
P - The World Engine. You have traveled back in time. It's what he always wanted, to kill us back here and make us watch.
J - Who?
P - Chongolo Lengolo. His real name, he who must be born stupid and fall at the hand of friendship.
Park held his side very tightly as he talked, his voice constantly getting raspier.
P - I'm happy you made it, but we don't have much time. You need to find the others.
J - I don't know where they are, I woke up at one place and wodnered off to another. You have to...
The windows at the front broke, then the ones at the side and the rear. A loud speaker was switched and the high pitched squeal was enough to throw the restaurant into a panic.
CL - Park-san and Joey, I know you'le in thele.
Park and Joey looked at each other.
CL - The people ale flee to go. But you two must sullendel. Failule to do so, will make me kill you'le familys in the futule.
Park looked at Joey and took his hand off the side. His hand was covered in blood and in it where the papers from his notebook.
P - When we traveled we got separated because Lengolo stabbed me while the World Engine was mid transfer... we need to fight them and you need to escape to find the others. You can't go back without the others.
J- I can't leave you to die.
Park smiled and pointed at Joeys pocket. He took out the toy bow.
P - Here.
Park gave him a small red ring.
P - Press it whenever you want to use that bow. You should have a small sword in your other pocket.

Outside the Leongo army started stomping the ground. There were more than five hundred of them now.
CL - If they don't come out in ten seconds. Burn it down!

The floor was vibrating inside the restaurant. Park tied a table cloth around his waist and used the ring to enhance the weapons they brought from the future. Joey held a bow while park dual wielded katanas.
P - If the opening is there run.
J - I'm not going to be cliche and tell you that I won't leave. But I will run if it means we can get out of here.
Park handed Joey the blood stained papers.

They ran outside.

The bow shot ethereal projectiles without the need of arrows. The katanas cut the wind so beautifully the sound of slicing air made a small melody.

The battle had started and Joey was astounded as to why he knew how to operate a bow with such accuracy that it made Legolas look like a bitch. He was dropping them like flies. Parrying to the left, sliding to the right he made quick work of the enemies ahead of him. As he took them out one by one he didn't notice the small party about to back stab him.

Park came in like a whirlwind of blood and pain. He sliced the enemies as he moved from side to side in a low stance. He attacked by spinning like a hurricane, cutting limbs and torsos alike. He saw Joey in danger and ran to him and a brick wall had stopped him. It was enough time for Joey to notice and eliminate the party that was coming from behind. Parks blades landed near Joey's feet.

CL - Fuck you Palk...
He whispered into Park's ear. There was silence in the world for five seconds.

Leongos sword had thrust him in the left lung, below the heart from behind.

Park looked at Joey and whispered 'run'. No words came out of his mouth. Joey's eyes grew big and he shot an arrow to Lengos head. It connected, but a red glow prevented anything from damaging him

There it was. The stupid smirk that Leongo had. You know which one, that retarded one where he just tightened his lips and bobbed his head with that retarded cereal bowl haircut.

Joey grabbed the swords and used one as an arrow. He aimed carefully to the neck and struck Leongo, but it didnt cut. Park turned around to look at Leongo and smiled.

Leongo cut Park in an upward motion, slicing his heart asunder. Leongos eyes glowed red, but the place where the sword had struck had made an opening.

There were no words coming from Joey as he made an escape.

Leongo checked Parks pockets and found nothing. In his anger he continuously blamed everyone and severed Park's heart from his body. He ordered the big house to be burned, They left the area.

A blue explorer approached.
