i also dont get this. they ban gay marriage because its immoral or whatnot. mostly because its in the bible (i really dont know, its such a big book). yet they still have the death penalty which according to the same bible (i do recall reading that) says its also immoral and wrong. so why are we still the number one state where we put people on death row (and i think they are mostly not guilty)?

It's called hipocrisy dude, They're always there to quote the bible out of context but when it comes to the parts that they don't like, they won't even dare bring it up. Few of them have barely even read that book.

to be uncomfortable is to be homophobic. Its not wrong to be homophobic, its just that, just because it bothers you doesn't mean you're allowed to deny them what is rightfully theirs.
besides, regarding religion im just saying what i saw at austin this past weekend. we saw people (we as in me, rennie, joey, cindy and randal) when they tried to use religion as a hypocritical method of getting others to vote against same sex marriages.

If people dont feel comfortable with seeing gay people get married, then dont look. What was it that the military tried doing, "Don't ask, don't tell."
