Rennie 2K4 even though its 2k5 now.

Alright, so its my first week this summer in Kingsville and I must say, its been quite a fun experience so far. I've had more fun these past few days here than i've had in a looong time, must be because I have no school. Anyway, First things first, I hit up a house show in Calallen in Randal's back yard. Randal is the drummer of Joey's (formerly Tim and Joey) band, Remnants of Stereo. For those of you who don't know, Joey is my friend and has been my neighbor this semester in the Turner Hall dormitories. He is one awesome dude, good guitarist, very fluffy, and has a hot friend named Amanda. The first band in the House Show was Aim High, needless to say they sucked, they were crappy metal for the metal kids who suck too. that's all I have to say about them. The next band was Amalgam Mode, I must say this band is really good, their vocalist is very talented and has a wide range, their bassist is very good as is their drummer. Their style of music is different from that which I have heard here in Kingsville and a lot out there. And believe that everyone should check them out..HERE. They sound much better live than they do on the myspace radio, but they sound good on the myspace radio nonetheless.

Next were Remnants of Stereo, they were good for playing their very first show. They messed up sometimes but that's understandable for a first show. But they still made up for it with their good sound, and talent. I was given the pleasure to go up and Sing a cover of Against Me!'s Pints of Guiness Make You Strong, I sang horribly, but I sang my heart out, and Joey says he liked that. He says he was also impressed with the fact that I knew all the lyrics, because he says even he has trouble remembering the lyrics sometimes. I say Remnants of Stereo should continue playing and I will gladly help along by becoming their Merch Girl.

Today I went to see the Reggie and the full effect show with Eisley and New Found Glory. Reggie was awesome, they came up on stage in bunnie outfits and the guitarist was painted like rambo. They played an awesome show, fully energetic, and reggie was funny as hell. Reggie totally rocked the fuck out. Eisley was hot, the whole band consisted of hot chicks, that's all I can really say about them. New Found Glory, even though I don't like their music, I must say puts on a really good show, they are energetic, put a lot of crowd participation, and even had reggie come up on stage to play the keyboard and sing back up on a lot of songs. They were so energetic I tapped my foot and bobbed my head throughout their concert. And I don't even like their music. So Kudos to New Found Glory for putting on a good show. At least you gave your fans your money's worth. Oh yeah, I bought a T-shirt and took two very long pisses in the show, I don't know what was wrong with me, but those pisses took a good five minutes.
