President in '08
If you all were smart enough to read my brother's post about Bush, and then read Diego's comment after, you all my know where i'm going.
Diego, that is the best idea I have ever heard you say. Neto running for president might actually accomplish something. Mostly because he's all for peace. But checo also proves a good point, in order to be in power, you have to play by their games. That means the possible risk of corrupting Neto. Of course that's impossible, its impossible to corrupt a Buddhist. But just to be safe, we should go kill everyone who is corrupt. I mean, if you're exploiting the workers, embezzeling, if you're spending government money on a hooker, shit, if I catch you getting yourself out of a jaywalking ticket just because you're a person who holds himself in power. Prepare to be shot.
Neto can also say Nuclear, can pluralize internet(which by the way, you can't), and knows how to increase "fast". I will say that good ol' Dubya was more prepared in this next debate. Shit, he was even writing down notes, well actually I think he was drawing, but he looked like he was writing good notes. But he kept trying to do something that really pisses me off, and that is scaring us. That's all he did, he kept trying to scare the people. So I leave you with a nice little quote from a little NAZI.
"Why of course the people don't want war. Why should some poor slob on a farm want to risk his life in a war when the best he can get out of it is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally the common people don't want war neither in Russia, nor in England, nor for that matter in Germany. That is understood. But, after all, it is the leaders of the country who determine the policy and it is always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it is a democracy, or a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the peacemakers for lack of patriotism and exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country."
