The Truth About Daylight Savings Time...

Many believe that daylight savings time was proposed by farmers or factory managers to get more sunlight hours for working and saving energy. This is a myth. The truth (according to Wikipedia) is that William Willet first proposed daylight savings time because he was an avid golfer and he hated having to stop playing at sunset. In fact, Daylight Savings Time proved so unpopular among farmers that they got congress to repeal it but the measure was vetoed twice by Woodrow Wilson who was also a fan of golf.

So the next time you oversleep because you forgot to change your clock. Or you show up to work feeling tired because you lost an hour of sleep into the air, then give a loud "Fuck You!" to Tiger Woods.
