This is messed up....
Ok getting political again. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that Chief Warrant Officer Lewis E. Welshofer Jr. was sentenced to pay a $6000 fine and serve no jail time for his part in the death of an Iraqi General during interrogation. Meanwhile, they are also reporting that a peace activist who splattered his own blood on the windows of an army recruiting station as part of a protest against the war was sentenced to six months in jail for doing so.
I think I am finally starting to understand the government. You kill a guy while interrogating him you go free. You protest the war and you spend six months in jail. It all makes sense.
