See dude its all about escalation. At first it starts with something that almost sounds reasonable like we are going after these people because they "stole" music. Then it becomes we are going after these guys because they posted the lyrics on the web and that is like stealing music. Its the same with all of our rights and thats why we must always protect them or someday it will go from we are tracking the people who read these books because they might be terrorists to we are no longer allowing people to buy these books because they might be terrorists.

ok ok wait... i agree they are going too far with the tab and lyrics because if anything people playing thier music promotes thier music. yet in all honesty i could never find a valid reasoning as to why downloading music was not stealing. i mean we come on we try to find all sorts of excuses because we like it because it keeps us from having to go out and buy the albums but lets call things what they are downloading music for free IS stealing. you are taking something that should have been paid for and your not paying a cent...that sounds like stealing to me and that has never been one of our RIGHTS.

Downloading music is stealing, But you're not hurting a major label band by doing so. Most of the profit is done by Merchandise, concerts, TV spots, etc. All CD sales really do is tell the the record label where exactly the band is on the charts. A band where CD sales would matter more are DIY bands, and even then they end up making more money at concerts. Don't forget that along with their merch, they also cell CDs at their shows too.

Also, they should really start adapting to this idea of downloading, because no matter how much they try, I don't believe its going to go away. People are going to come up with something better, and sneakier, and faster. As we speak, right now, there's a program that lets you download music, and scans Record Lable IPs.

Although checo, I don't think its ever been called a right,
