So happy fucking new year for all of you!
With that said and done, what do we do now? I’m just sitting here on my laptop figuring out if I should start playing metroid prime 2 or continue reading the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy. It’s a very good book. If you haven’t read it, then hit you local bookstore and get it. Its worth its pathetic weight in gold.
Well what else is new, mmmmm well, my grandma fell again and broke her femur for the second time this 30th of December. It sucks because nobody expected it. She fell at the crack of dawn while trying to do stupid shit she didn’t even have to do in the first place. She now has to go thru another surgery which will involve taking the small plate located at the lower base of the femur, and replace it with a bigger more sturdier one around the whole femur. Its really going to suck. More because on the 31st we were looking so bad for blood donors that had their same blood type. She needed 4 pints (liters) because she is anemic because of the stress she has. So far there were three and I think that they have found a fourth donor within the family. I felt kind of bad, because I share her same blood type but couldn’t donate because I didn’t make the cut. I am barely the weight they need for a donor to have. But they didn’t want to risk my health, because (according to the fat and uberly gay (no really he was gay) nurse) I could get really sick. So new years was kind of a bummer to the family, more because we didn’t even celebrate as we use to. We just had diner and most of the female family members were crying and mourning because our grandma was not here. I still have a positive view though, so I’m hoping she comes out good. So my first new years resolution (sorta like rennies) is to put on some weight. At least I know that by doing that, I can have the necessary requirements to help my family when they need me the most. The weight thing will involve this medicine to make me hungry (viternum, I though you might want to check that out ren, since medicine and all) and going to the gym.
As for other matters, neto beat me to the punch in writing a review for garden state. It is a very good movie. I downloaded it (don’t worry mr braff, I already deleted it) (sorta) and saw it like on the second week of December. But I never went around to write a review. Neto did a good job on that. So thank you neto. Thank you.
But there are other things to check out too. I bought dodgeball, which most of us have seen. Its freakin hilarious. And for those die hard chuck Norris fans, he makes a cameo!
Another good movie I got as a gift was napoleon dynamite. It is great in its own geeky ways. It’s a dork movie, dorks will know what he says and means. And I believe the setting is in the eighties with nineties music. Either that or rural America has long ways to go. Ziiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing! I also just ordered my sin city comics from amazon, in hopes that thyey don’t ruin the storyline for the movie. Yes! Frank millers epic pulp violence/sex/drugs/revenge/psycho prone comic is hitting the big screen. You guys should check out the trailer here. Jessica alba and all the other girls look hot. Plus the storyline is really good. Lets say you like pulp fiction per se, but with a more of a comic book twist with unforgettable characters (try and find info on the yellow dude, hes fucking nuts) you will enjoy it.
Im also kind of pissed they remade willy wonka and the chocolate factory. I like Johnny depp. And I like tim burton. But jebus fucking Christ man! Fucking tim burton! Stop making remakes and ruin perfectly good movies! I had enough of george lucas changing some shots for the star wars original trilogy and now this fucker is trying to rape my infancy in a whole new way! Fuck you asshole!
Either way im gonna end up seeing it.
Also avoid going to see the “darkness” it sucks. The storyline sucks. Character development sucks. The whole thing sucked ass.
But you know what made up for it. The fact that I watched “the life aquatic”. Its wes Anderson,. He writes well sometimes. But this is a really good movie. You guys should see it. Its like royal tenenbaums goes Hawaiian. I wont tell much about the storyline. I will just say its very very very very good.
